This variation of the San Juan Worm is tied with soft plastic material and fished as an aquatic worm from the annelid family. The simplicity of this fly is perfect. Not confined to the San Juan River in New Mexico, this fly is widely fished all over the world in still and moving water. Most effective in rising water conditions, when the worms are getting washed down the river. this version is tied on a jigged hook and sports a tungsten beadhead that helps it get down to the zone in faster water.
