The Perminator Hochner Ghost Crab is a translucent crab imitation on a size 2 hook from Umpqua. The ghostly, see-through body is designed to fool the wariest permit.
Present it on clear flats with a natural drift. The translucent profile is nearly invisible until it moves, making it a top choice for heavily pressured fish.
Permit are famously selective, so a natural drift with minimal false casting gives this fly its best chance.
