Sommerlatte's Bayou Bug is a #2 redfish fly from RAINY'S. This buggy, impressionistic pattern suggests the shrimp and crabs redfish root from the bottom.
Fish it slow and low with short strips and frequent pauses. The buggy profile looks alive even at rest, making it effective for tailing fish.
The #2 size offers a substantial target for quality redfish. An impressionistic pattern like this covers multiple forage types in one fly.
