Abel Vaya Spool 5/6 Satin Black is a spare spool for the Abel Vaya fly reel, sized for 5 and 6 weight lines and finished in satin black. A spare spool is the fastest way to change tactics on the water: preload it with a sink-tip, a spare floating line, or a backup of the same line, then swap spools in seconds without re-rigging. The satin black finish matches the reel for a clean, understated look.
When to Use It
Pair it with a Vaya 5/6 when you want a second line option ready to fish, whether that means a streamer line for afternoons, a sink-tip for deep runs, or simply a backup spool for travel. It suits trout anglers who fish varied water in a single day.
