The Sculpinator in Olive, size #6, from MRFC. A sculpin-imitating streamer in olive, one of the most trusted colors for bottom-dwelling forage patterns.
Sculpins are a year-round food source for trout. Fish this pattern tight to the bottom with short, darting strips to mimic a fleeing sculpin.
Streamers imitate the baitfish, sculpins, and other forage that big trout hunt.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
