The Caddis Sparkle Pupa in size #16 imitates a caddis pupa ascending to the surface, the stage trout feed on most heavily.
Fish it just under the surface during caddis emergences, or swing it across the current like an emerging natural.
It also makes a highly visible top fly in a dry-dropper rig, pulling double duty as strike indicator. Keep a few in different sizes to match the naturals you see on the water that day.
