Sweetgrass Bamboo Fly Rod is a handcrafted bamboo fly rod rated for 4/5 weight lines, measuring 7 feet 6 inches in two pieces with classic hexagonal construction and two tips. Bamboo offers a smooth, deliberate casting stroke that protects light tippets and presents dry flies with delicacy. The included second tip is traditional insurance: if one tip is damaged streamside, the rod keeps fishing.
When to Use It
Made for small-stream and spring-creek trout fishing, where short, accurate casts and soft presentations matter more than distance. The 4/5 weight rating handles dry flies, light nymph rigs, and small streamers on intimate water.
