The Montana Prince is a purple-dressed variant of the classic Prince nymph, a time-tested attractor nymph for trout.
The Prince's buggy profile suggests everything from stoneflies to caddis larvae. Fish it deep as a searching nymph in rivers and streams.
From CATCH Fly Fishing, available through Madison River Fishing Company, the Ennis, Montana fly shop. A dependable pattern for nymphing runs, riffles, and deep slots all season long.
