Dream Cast's Strong Arm Crab in Tan is a Merkin-style permit crab with a prominent chenille claw that suggests a fleeing crab. The tan colorway matches the sandy flats where permit hunt crabs, and the claw gives the fly the profile of a crab on the move. Available in #2 and #4, it fishes best cast ahead of a tailing permit and stripped just enough to suggest a crab trying to get away. A natural choice for the flats, tied for permit that eat crabs first and ask questions later.
