The Rubber Legs Stoner is a stonefly nymph imitation with lively rubber legs that suggest the movement of the natural.
Stonefly nymphs live under rocks in fast water, so fish this pattern deep along the bottom of riffles and runs, especially as a lead fly.
Adjust your depth and weight until you find the lane where fish are holding. From JD Flies, available through Madison River Fishing Company, the Ennis, Montana fly shop.
