The Jig Czech UV Rainbow from Montana Fly Co. is a rainbow czech-style nymph with UV accents tied in size #16. The rainbow dressing suits a wide range of water conditions.
Euro nymphs are slim and heavily weighted to sink fast on a tight-line rig. Fish it as an anchor or dropper, staying in contact with the flies through the entire drift. Carry it in a couple of weights to adjust to changing depths through the day.
Tied on a jig hook, it rides hook-point-up, which means fewer snags on the bottom and surer hook-sets.
