McClure's Mini Kill Whitey in Black is the mid-size Kill Whitey, an articulated streamer on a #4 hook from Montana Fly Co. The articulated body gives the fly a swimming, lifelike action that suggests a small baitfish, and the black colorway throws a strong silhouette in low light, at dawn and dusk, and in stained water. Fish it stripped through runs, under banks, and along structure — the Mini size is the middle ground between the Micro and the full-size streamer, big enough to hunt with and small enough to fish all day. A go-to articulated pattern for trout water.
