The Woolly Bugger Grinch from Montana Fly Co., available in hook sizes #10 and #6. A Woolly Bugger variation tied in the Grinch colorway.
The Woolly Bugger's buggy profile fools trout in rivers, lakes, and ponds everywhere. Choose the #10 for a smaller presentation or the #6 for more presence.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
