The Lil Foamy Midge is a tiny foam-bodied midge pattern that sits in the surface film where emerging midges get trapped.
The foam keeps it riding right when trout are sipping nearly invisible insects. A useful pattern for selective fish on calm water.
A good searching nymph for prospecting new water when no hatch is evident. Restock your nymph box before your next trip; productive patterns go fast.
