The T Jig TNT Baetis from Solitude Fly is a jig nymph tied in size #18. Size #18 covers the naturals trout encounter most often.
A competition-style pattern meant to be fished deep. The heavy bead and slim body drop it fast and keep it in front of the fish, where trout do most of their feeding. Carry it in a couple of weights to adjust to changing depths through the day.
Tied on a jig hook, it rides hook-point-up, which means fewer snags on the bottom and surer hook-sets.
