Skok's Strong Arm Floating Crab in Sargassum is a floating crab imitation on a size 2 hook from Umpqua. The sargassum coloring matches crabs found drifting in weed lines and grass.
Present it to permit feeding near floating grass and weed edges. The natural sargassum tones make it a convincing offering where real crabs drift by.
Permit are famously selective, so a natural drift with minimal false casting gives this fly its best chance.
