Enrico Puglisi's Spawning Shrimp in BC Sand pairs a natural sand colorway with bead-chain eyes, the lighter version for shallow flats and spooky fish. The sand dressing blends with the bottom where shrimp-colored prey is what bonefish and permit expect, while the bead-chain eyes keep the fly riding just right in skinny water. Available in #4 and #6, it fishes best presented to tailing fish and allowed to settle naturally before the strip. A quiet, natural shrimp for clear, shallow flats where a heavy fly would spook the fish you're casting to.
