Jojo's Honey Ant is a #14 ant dry fly from Montana Fly Co. in honey tones. Ants are a summer terrestrial staple — when wind blows ants onto the water, trout feed on them selectively, and a honey-toned ant is the right match for the naturals. Fish it on the surface along banks, under overhanging grass, and in slow seams where terrestrials collect — the #14 size fishes well as a single dry or behind a larger attractor. A go-to terrestrial when the hatch is off but trout are still looking up.
