Maddin's Bird Brain Hare's Ear is an articulated streamer on a #6 hook from Montana Fly Co. The articulated body gives the fly a swimming, lifelike action that trout find hard to ignore, while the Hare's Ear dressing adds a buggy, natural profile that reads like the real thing. Fish it stripped through runs, under banks, and along structure — the #6 size is a versatile streamer for trout water everywhere, from small streams to big rivers. A go-to articulated pattern when trout want a streamer that moves like food and looks like it belongs.
