Regal Medallion Vise pairs the midge jaw with a bronze pedestal base. The Medallion is Regal's classic lever-action vise: squeeze the lever to open the jaws, drop in the hook, and release for a grip that holds without adjustment. The midge jaw is shaped for small hooks, gripping tiny dries and nymphs securely where a standard jaw would crowd the tying area.
When to Use It
Built for technical trout tiers who spend their time on midges, small mayflies, and tiny nymphs. When hook sizes drop into the small stuff, the midge jaw keeps the hook accessible and leaves room to work thread and materials precisely.
