Montana Fly Co.'s Tungsten Squirrely Little Bugger in Black is a buggy Woolly Bugger variant on a #8 hook, weighted with a tungsten bead that gets the fly down fast in deeper runs and faster water. The extra movement built into the body imitates leeches, baitfish, and big drowned nymphs in one package, and the black colorway throws a strong silhouette in stained water and low light. Strip it through runs, swing it through tailouts, and let it sink into the slots where fish hold — a go-to bugger when the water calls for weight and one fly that covers leeches, baitfish, and nymphs alike.
