Montana Fly Co.'s Tungsten Squirrely Little Bugger in Purple is a small bugger pattern on a #8 hook, weighted with a tungsten bead that gets the fly down fast in deeper runs and faster water. The purple colorway gives trout a dark, buggy profile they don't see every day, and the #8 size fishes well when fish want a bugger with a little more presence than the diminutive #12. Strip it through runs, swing it through tailouts, and let it sink into the slots where big fish hold. A go-to bugger when the water calls for weight and a color trout can't ignore.
