The Tungsten Guide's Choice Hare's Ear from Umpqua is a heavyweight version of the classic buggy nymph. The tungsten bead drives it deep while the hare's ear body suggests mayflies and caddis alike.
A guide favorite for a reason: it catches fish everywhere. Offered in sizes #14 and #16 for nymphing riffles, runs, and deep slots year-round. Mayfly nymphs are on the trout menu nearly every day of the season, so a pattern like this earns a permanent place in your nymph box.
