The Zirdle Bug in Tan is a rubber-legged stonefly nymph on a size 8 hook. Its buggy body and waving legs imitate the stonefly nymphs that trout feed on heavily in western rivers.
Fish it dead-drifted along the bottom through riffles and pocket water. The tan coloration is a natural match for many stonefly species, and the size 8 profile is a substantial meal.
