The Belly Flop Balanced Damsel from MRFC, available in hook sizes #10 and #8. A balanced-style fly imitating a damselfly nymph.
Damselfly nymphs are a key stillwater food. The balanced design suspends the fly horizontally under an indicator at the depth where trout feed.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
