2022 Abel SDF Solid Reel 4/5 Satin Deep Blue with Satin Platinum Drag Knob and Walnut Handle

Abel SDF Solid Reel 4/5 in Satin Deep Blue features a satin platinum drag knob and walnut handle, a custom-finished take on Abel's solid-frame reel. The SDF's solid back design adds rigidity and a classic look, while Abel's drag system provides smooth, reliable stopping power. The satin deep blue finish with platinum and walnut accents makes this one a true custom piece.

When to Use It

Fish the SDF 4/5 on 4- and 5-weight trout rods for dries, nymphs, and light streamers, the core of fly fishing. The solid frame suits anglers who prefer traditional reel architecture, and the custom finish pairs beautifully with fine rods. A reel that fishes hard and looks the part doing it.
