The Crazy Charlie Shallow in White is a bonefish fly on a size 8 hook from Fulling Mill, tied light for skinny water. The white coloration is bright and visible over pale sand.
Present it to bonefish on shallow flats with a gentle retrieve. The light dressing lands softly, making it ideal for calm mornings and wary fish.
On the flats, a quiet presentation and a slow, steady strip usually outperform extra casting distance.
