Kirk's Spoon in Gold is a spoon fly on a size 2 hook from Fulling Mill. The gold spoon wobbles and flashes like the real thing, a classic redfish trigger.
Retrieve it steadily across flats and through marsh drains for redfish. Spoon flies are famously effective, and the gold finish is a proven color in varied water clarities.
Work it slowly along the bottom of flats and marsh edges, where redfish root for shrimp and crabs.
