A parachute-style Pale Morning Dun dry fly from JD Flies. The parachute post keeps the pattern visible while the body rides flush, imitating a PMD dun in the surface film.
Fish it on a dead drift to rising trout during PMD hatches, or as a visible searching dry when mayflies are around but not hatching heavily.
Work likely holding water methodically, covering each seam before moving on, since mayfly feeders often hold station and wait for the next drift.
