The Jig Zonker in Copper, size #6, from Montana Fly Co. A jig-style zonker dressed in copper tones.
Copper gives this baitfish imitation a warm, natural glow. The jig design reduces snags while keeping the fly in the strike zone.
Streamers imitate the baitfish, sculpins, and other forage that big trout hunt.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
