Trina's Carnage Hopper in pink is a bold grasshopper dry fly pattern. The bright pink coloring makes it easy to track while the hopper profile draws aggressive late-summer strikes.
Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks, or skate it to imitate a struggling hopper.
When fish short-strike, resist the urge to set too soon; let the trout turn with the fly before lifting the rod.
