Rainy's X-Fly PMD is a Pale Morning Dun dry fly built on the X-Fly platform. It offers the pale yellow-cream dun profile trout key on during PMD emergences.
At #14 it matches the larger PMDs of early summer. Fish it on a dead drift to rising fish during midday hatches.
This is a confidence pattern for hatch situations: tie it on when you see dimples and subtle sips, and let the drift do the work.
