Renzetti Tube Fly Vise Set is a pedestal-base vise outfit set up for tying tube flies, and it includes 3 mandrels. Tube flies are tied on hollow plastic or metal tubes that slide over a mandrel, so the finished fly can be threaded onto the leader ahead of a short-shank hook. The included mandrels cover the range of tube sizes tiers reach for most, from small trout tubes to larger salmon and steelhead patterns.
When to Use It
Built for Atlantic salmon, steelhead, and saltwater tiers who tie on tubes for better hook placement, easy hook swaps, and flies that swim true. The pedestal base keeps the setup stable on the desk and packs easily for tying away from home.
