The Big Eye Bugger in Rusty, size #4, from MRFC. A bugger variation with prominent eyes in a rusty colorway.
The eyes add a trigger point that predatory trout key on, and the rusty tones suggest crayfish and sculpins. A great pattern for aggressive fish.
Streamers imitate the baitfish, sculpins, and other forage that big trout hunt.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
