2023 Abel SDS Reel Solid 7/8 DeYoung Montana Brown Flank with Platinum Handle is an Abel SDS fly reel in 7/8 size, featuring Derek DeYoung's Montana brown flank artwork and a platinum handle. The solid frame fishes without porting for a classic look, and the SDS platform is built for the powerful runs of big fish on heavier lines.
When to Use It
Fish it on 7- and 8-weight outfits for steelhead, salmon, large trout streamers, bass, and light saltwater species. The DeYoung artwork makes it as much a showpiece as a fishing tool, equally at home on a prized rod and in hard-fighting situations.
