The Beadhead Lightning Bug in silver imitates midge larvae with a bright silver body that flashes in the drift. Midges hatch year-round, making this a twelve-month pattern for tailwaters and stillwaters.
Fish it under an indicator or as a dropper in slow water. Offered in sizes #14 and #16 for dialing in the midge activity trout are feeding on. Mayfly nymphs are on the trout menu nearly every day of the season, so a pattern like this earns a permanent place in your nymph box.
