The Guide's Choice Hare's Ear from MRFC is a hare's ear nymph. A proven pattern worth keeping in the nymph box.
The Hare's Ear is one of the most trusted nymph patterns ever tied — its buggy, mottled body suggests mayfly nymphs, caddis larvae, and just about everything else. Dead-drift it near the bottom. If you could carry only one nymph, this would be a strong candidate.
Available in #14 and #18.
