The Shiner is a #2/0 baitfish pattern from Enrico Puglisi for striped bass. The shiner profile imitates the silvery baitfish that stripers chase.
Fish it with an aggressive, fleeing retrieve through rips, structure, and current seams. Stripers often strike baitfish flies with force, so stay ready.
The #2/0 sizing matches the larger forage stripers target. A natural baitfish imitation is a must-have for any striper fly box.
