The Barbless Jig Napoleon - Red from Montana Fly Co. is a red jig nymph tied in size #18. The red dressing suits a wide range of water conditions.
Built for tight-line (European) nymphing, where a long leader and heavy flies replace the indicator. The slender profile and dense bead drive it into the feeding zone quickly, even in fast water. Carry it in a couple of weights to adjust to changing depths through the day.
The barbless hook makes for quick, clean catch-and-release.
