The Jig Fly Formerly Known As Prince from Montana Fly Co. is an attractor nymph. A proven pattern worth keeping in the nymph box.
A classic attractor that has fooled trout for generations. Fish it as a searching nymph under an indicator or tight-lined, especially when fish are feeding opportunistically. A confidence fly for unfamiliar water and slow days.
The jig-style tie keeps the hook point riding up, so it bounces along the bottom with fewer hang-ups.
