Krueger's Clear Choice May Baetis from Montana Fly Co. is a Baetis nymph built for clear water and selective trout. The natural, understated profile matches the small olives of spring creeks and tailwaters.
Dead-drift it in riffles and seams during Blue Winged Olive hatches. Size #18 suits the small-fly presentations technical water demands. Mayfly nymphs are on the trout menu nearly every day of the season, so a pattern like this earns a permanent place in your nymph box.
