The Tungsten OCD Caddis Tan from Solitude Fly is a tan tungsten bead-head caddis nymph tied in size #16. The tungsten bead-head helps it sink quickly into the feeding zone.
Caddis larvae and pupae are a staple trout food from spring through fall. Fish this pattern subsurface on a dead drift — under an indicator, tight-lined, or as a dropper behind a dry fly. Keep it in the box from spring through fall, when caddis are part of the daily drift.
