The Deceiver in Blue and White is a #2/0 baitfish pattern from UMPQUA for striped bass. The blue-and-white coloration imitates the baitfish stripers feed on in open water.
The Deceiver is one of the most famous saltwater flies ever tied. Strip it with varied retrieves, from steady pulls to erratic darts.
The #2/0 size suits quality striped bass. Blue and white is a natural open-water combination that fools stripers feeding on bait schools.
