Dornan's Water Walker in Salmonfly is a large dry fly pattern from Yellowstone Fly Goods. The #4 sizing matches adult Salmonflies, and the high-floating design skates and drifts naturally.
Fish it tight to the banks during the Salmonfly hatch, with an occasional twitch to suggest a struggling adult.
Big stonefly patterns take abuse all day — check the fly regularly and dress it so it keeps riding high through fast, broken water.
