The Prince nymph without a bead — the unweighted version of the classic attractor pattern. With no added weight, it drifts naturally in the upper water column and shallow riffles.
Fish it subsurface as a dropper behind a weighted nymph or dry fly, where its natural drift fools selective trout.
Rig it as the point fly in a two-nymph setup with a smaller dropper trailing behind, adding weight until you're ticking the bottom every few casts.
