The Foam PMX in size #12 is a foam version of the classic Parachute Madam X attractor dry fly.
The foam construction adds floatation for rough water. Fish it as a stonefly-season searching pattern.
Carry several in your fly box so you are covered when the hatch intensifies and trout start keying on this stage. From Dream Cast Fly Fishing, available through Madison River Fishing Company, the Ennis, Montana fly shop.
