MFC Bare Bones Forceps is a minimalist streamside forceps from Montana Fly Company, built for anglers who want hook removal and barb pinching without extra bulk. The Bare Bones design strips the tool down to its essentials: reliable jaws for gripping hooks and enough leverage for everyday streamside tasks.
When to Use It
Clip it on for wade fishing, travel kits, and backup duty. It handles hook removal, barb pinching, and knot tightening — the jobs that come up constantly on the water — in a simple tool that does not weigh down a vest or lanyard.
