The Sparkle Dun in size #18 imitates a mayfly dun with a trailing shuck of sparkle material, matching freshly hatched insects.
The trailing shuck is the key trigger. Dead-drift it during mayfly hatches, especially to selective risers.
From MRFC, available through Madison River Fishing Company, the Ennis, Montana fly shop. A proven pattern that deserves a permanent place in your dry-fly box all season long.
