The Jig Hot Spot Pheasant Tail from MRFC is a jig nymph tied in size #14. Size #14 covers the naturals trout encounter most often.
Built for tight-line (European) nymphing, where a long leader and heavy flies replace the indicator. The slender profile and dense bead drive it into the feeding zone quickly, even in fast water. A dependable anchor or dropper choice for any euro nymphing outing.
The jig-style tie keeps the hook point riding up, so it bounces along the bottom with fewer hang-ups.
