The Mop Fly in beige is a modern attractor nymph with a soft, grub-like body. The beige coloring suggests caddis larvae, crane fly larvae, and other pale subsurface food.
Fish it subsurface near the bottom under an indicator — the bulky profile is especially effective in high or off-color water.
Adjust your indicator depth until the fly is riding just off the bottom, where nymph-feeding trout do most of their hunting.
